Why rent a private villa in Italy?
A villa gives you what no hotel can: complete privacy, space for everyone and a pool at your door. Wake up to vineyards, a lake or the sea, dine on the terrace at sunset and have the best of each region at your door. For guests who value discretion and service, it is the most refined way to experience Italy.
With Private Concierge Florence you do not simply book a house. You receive a personal team that knows each property, each owner and every region of Italy, and that stays by your side during the whole stay.
Tuscany and Florence
Historic villas in the Florentine hills, Chianti and the Val d’Orcia, with vineyards, olive groves and Florence a short drive away. Our home region and our specialty.
Umbria and Le Marche
Stone farmhouses and restored estates among medieval hill towns, truffles and quiet valleys: Assisi, Todi, Orvieto and the Adriatic hills.
Amalfi Coast, Capri and Puglia
Cliffside villas over the sea in Positano, Ravello and Capri, and white-washed masserie among the olive groves of Puglia, with private terraces and boat access.
Lake Como, the Lakes and Northern Italy
Lakefront villas on Lake Como, Lake Maggiore and Lake Garda, with private docks, gardens and mountain views. On request also Sicily, Sardinia, the Dolomites and Rome.

Frequently asked questions about luxury villa rentals in Italy
Where in Italy can I rent a luxury villa?
We arrange luxury villas throughout Italy: Tuscany and Florence, Umbria, Le Marche, Rome and Lazio, the Amalfi Coast and Capri, Puglia, Sicily, Sardinia, Lake Como, Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore, Portofino and the Dolomites. Tell us the experience you are looking for and we recommend the region and the villa that fit best.
How much does it cost to rent a luxury villa in Italy?
Rates for luxury villas in Italy depend on the season, the size of the property, the staff and the services you choose. Prices are available on request only: send us your dates and group size and we prepare a tailored quote, with every service itemized.
What is the best time to rent a villa in Italy?
The most popular months are May, June, September and early October, when the weather is warm, the pool is comfortable and the landscape is at its best. July and August are the hottest and busiest months, so book early. The Amalfi Coast, Puglia and Sicily are pleasant from late April to October, while Tuscany and Umbria shine during the September grape harvest.
Can I rent a villa with a private pool in Italy?
Yes. We offer private villas with swimming pools in Tuscany, Umbria, on the Amalfi Coast, in Puglia, on the Italian lakes, in Sicily and in Sardinia. Many properties have heated or infinity pools, landscaped gardens and views over vineyards, olive groves, lakes or the sea. In Tuscany most villas are 20 to 60 minutes by car from the center of Florence.
Do the villas include a private chef and staff?
On selected villas, yes. We can arrange a private chef, housekeeping, a butler or house manager, a nanny, a private driver and wine sommelier service. Staffing is customized for your group and billed transparently, so you decide the level of service you want.
How many people can a luxury villa in Italy host?
Our villas range from romantic estates for two couples to large properties that comfortably host 12 to 20 guests across several bedrooms, with additional guest houses on some estates. Tell us your group size and we shortlist only the properties that fit.
Can you organize tours and experiences from the villa?
Yes. Private Concierge Florence is first of all a private tour and concierge company. From your villa, wherever it is in Italy, we arrange private guides, skip-the-line museum visits, wine tours, cooking classes, truffle hunting, boat trips and chauffeured day trips to the most beautiful places nearby, from Florence and Siena to Capri, Como and Rome.
How do I book a luxury villa through Private Concierge Florence?
Send us your dates, group size and wishes through our contact page. We reply with a personal shortlist of villas, a clear quote and a proposed itinerary. Once you choose, we handle the contract, deposit, arrival transfer and a welcome on site.
Is a villa better than a luxury hotel in Italy?
A villa offers privacy, space and a private pool, and suits families, multi-generational groups and friends traveling together. A luxury hotel in a city such as Florence, Rome or Venice is better if you want to be in the historic center on foot. Many guests combine both: a few nights in the city, then a villa in the countryside, on the lake or by the sea.
